Mastering the AI Writer
Learn how to generate SEO-optimized articles, manage custom images, and dominate local search results.
1. The Core Inputs
The Writer tool is designed for precision. Unlike generic chat bots, these fields map directly to WordPress metadata.
- Topic:The main title (H1) of your article. Keep it clear (e.g., "Best Car Detailing in Miami").
- Keywords/Tags:Comma-separated values (e.g., "detailing, auto care"). These become WordPress Tags automatically.
- Instructions:Direct the AI's style. Try "Use a professional tone," "Focus on technical specs," or "Write for beginners."
If you leave the "Instructions" blank, the AI will default to a neutral, informative SEO style. Use this field to add personality.
2. Advanced SEO Modes
Pillar Content Mode
What it does: Disables automatic internal linking out of this article.
When to use: For "Hub" pages or comprehensive guides that act as the parent for other articles. You want other posts linking TO this one, not away from it.
Local SEO Mode
What it does: Injects a Google Map Embed, Local Schema Markup, and city-specific keywords.
Requirement: You must configure a "Target City" and "Business Category" in the Site Settings tab first.
3. Images: AI vs. Manual
SyncRanker automatically handles the "Featured Image" for WordPress. You have two choices before publishing:
AI Generation (Default)
The system generates a unique, copyright-free image based on your topic. Perfect for scaling fast.
Manual Upload (New)
Switch to the "Upload Image" tab in the preview box. You can upload your own branded JPG/PNG. The system automatically uploads it to your WordPress Media Library and sets it as the Featured Image.
